About Us
Our Journey
Our congregation has been serving the people of Augusta County and surrounding areas since 1992. After utilizing more than a dozen temporary facilities, such as schools, shopping centers and restaurants, we completed and moved into our current facility in 2001. We’re excited to have such a wonderful place where we can gather to worship God, encourage each other and reach out to our communities.
If you’re looking for a church home we invite you visit us sometime. Our pastors and staff are available to answer any questions you may have.
Our Vision
To equip a church that desires to make an impact in your life, our community, and the world for Jesus Christ
Our Mission
To equip people to actively Pursue God, Serve Others, and Disciple the world. Mastering these three pillars, (Pursue, Serve, Disciple) is our blueprint on how we will make an impact in your life, our community, and the world.
Our Three Pillars
- Pursue: Jesus said, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need” (Matthew 6:33).
- Serve: Jesus said, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)
- Disciple: Jesus said, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)
Your Life
No matter the season of life you are in, your life has purpose. At Cornerstone, we are dedicated to guide you to see who God ordained you to be. You don’t have to navigate and find your purpose alone. Our Life Groups play an
important role to help you grow in the Lord, find your purpose, laugh, build community, hear God’s voice, and experience God’s presence.
Life Groups are more than weekly groups. They build community and lasting
relationship within the church. We encourage you to find a Life Group, that can walk with you on your journey.
Our Community
At Cornerstone, we are dedicated to demonstrate God’s love to our community. We want to reach our community in many ways. Those ways can be in person, online, individually, or through our Life Groups. We believe that the church needs to be mobilized and not stationary. We believe that the church needs to be mobilized and not stationary.
The World
We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus not just in our community, but in the whole world. We believe that national and international missions play an important part for us to disciple to the world.
